What are the rental requirements (Nationals, self-employed and tourists)?
Minimum age 25 years old. Credit card or social security card. For self-employed: notice of operation, last income tax return or something that proves your commercial activity. For Panamanian citizens: valid driver's license and personal identity card. For foreigners: identification document or passport with airport stamp and valid driver's license from the country of origin.
What are the types of coverage and what do they include?
● Basic Coverage (ALI): Covers damages to third parties. Covers damage to the property of others or injuries.
● EDA Coverage (ALI): Exemption from payment of the basic insurance deductible.
● Intermediate Coverage (LDW, PAI): Covers damages to third parties in case of collision with another moving vehicle. Covers damages caused by total theft of the vehicle (not partial), damages to third parties and medical expenses. Covers deductible relief, as long as there is a police report.
● Full Coverage (LDW, PAI, TW, ERA): Covers damages to third parties in case of collision with another moving vehicle. Covers damages caused by total theft of the vehicle (not partial), damages to third parties and medical expenses. Covers damages to front windshield, tires, roadside assistance nationwide and deductible waiver, as long as there is a police report (Roadside assistance covers: door opening, flat tire change, gas refueling, battery recharging and towing up to $150.00 per event).
● Super Full Coverage (LDW, PAI, TW, ERA, CVCF): Covers damages to third parties in case of collision with another moving vehicle. Covers damages caused by total theft of the vehicle (not partial), damages to third parties and medical expenses. Covers damages to front windshield, tires, roadside assistance nationwide, flight, collision and escape and deductible waiver, as long as there is a police report (Roadside assistance covers: door opening, flat tire change, gas refueling, battery recharging and towing up to $150.00 per event).

**Our coverages do not include scratches, dents, chips, partial loss due to theft and/or robbery, damage to lamps, rims or collision with fixed objects.**
Is it necessary to leave a deposit when picking up the vehicle?
It is a mandatory requirement to leave a guarantee through credit card or cash.
Fuel Policies and Panapass (Tolls)
Panapass must be returned with the same balance with which it was issued, otherwise $5.00 will be charged for each fraction of $5.00.

A $11.00 per negative pass from $-0.01 will be charged as a Panapass ticket (Fine) in accordance with Law 71 of the Land Transit Authority.
Is smoking allowed inside the vehicle?
Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle. In case of being returned with cigarette odors, a penalty of $150.00 will be charged.
Can an additional driver be added and what is the cost?
Yes, you can add an additional driver to the rental service, and he/she must meet the same age and license requirements as the regular driver. The documentation must be presented at the time of opening the contract and the cost is $5.00 per rental day.
What to do in case of a collision or accident?
First, you must make sure you and the people with you are okay. Contact the SURA insurance company at 800-8888 and notify the Authority of Transit and Land Transportation (ATTT) at 104 so they can send an agent and proceed to file a police report. Call us immediately to report what happened at 6587-7653, 6679-0836 or 397-5115. Take photos of the accident (the cars and the place). Remove the car to a nearby location where it will not obstruct traffic if there are no injuries and the vehicle is drivable.
What are the valid payment methods?
Credit cards (Visa, American Xpress, Mastercard, Discover, JCB), debit cards (Visa, Clave), cash, Yappy and ACH.
Can I return the vehicle to another branch?
Yes, it is possible to return the vehicle to a branch other than the one where it was picked up. This service has an additional cost depending on the branch.
What should I do if I want to extend my contract?
In case you wish to extend it, you must notify the rental agent in advance and pay the extension fee.
